About the founder

Skills can be taught. Character must be built.

A Marine’s discipline, a teacher’s patience and a financial professional’s precision — applied to the two things that decide most outcomes: money and leadership.

The story

Osazee Thompson

Osazee began his career in the United States Marine Corps, where he received a Letter of Commendation for superior performance as Training NCO. The Marines gave him the conviction that still anchors his work: skills can be taught, but character has to be built — deliberately, under pressure, with accountability.

He went on to teach entrepreneurial studies at City Colleges of Chicago, where he watched talented people stall out not from lack of ambition but from lack of financial literacy. That gap became his focus.

As a registered representative at a Fortune 100 financial services firm, he led teams and guided families through retirement, insurance and wealth-building decisions. He later served as Assistant to the Director of Real Estate and Construction Operations in a multimillion-dollar organization, managing projects where the cost of a bad decision was measured in millions.

He founded OT Enterprises to bring those disciplines together: financial wellness for individuals and families, and leadership development for the organizations that serve them.

Philosophy

Everyone is a leader of self first

Three beliefs that shape every engagement.

Awareness before authority

You cannot lead a team through something you have not learned to lead yourself through. Self-leadership is the prerequisite, not the bonus.

Leaders are developed, not born

Nobody arrives ready. Leaders are coached, stretched and held accountable — that is the entire job of a development program.

Money is a character test

Budgets, debt and retirement decisions reveal habits long before they reveal income. Fix the habits and the numbers follow.
